Frequently asked questions
What is PPh 22 and can I recover it?
PPh 22 is a 2.5% (API) or 7.5% (no API) income tax collected at import. It is a creditable prepayment of corporate income tax, offset against annual income tax due - not a final cost for tax-paying importers.
