Base = LME cash settlement on the pricing period agreed (typically month of shipment M-1 average). Add regional premium (Rotterdam DP / Midwest / MJP). Add any billet/slab conversion. Freight and duty are then applied on the invoice value.
Depends on jurisdiction. The UK and US have restricted new Russian aluminium (April 2024). The EU has restricted specific products. LME will not accept new Russian metal into warehouses. Existing metal produced before the cut-off remains tradeable.
