Contract & Settlement Templates
The SPA closes the offer-intent stage and starts the operational phase: KYC exchange, LC drawdowns and settlement adjustments. This hub bundles the paperwork for both.
The Sales & Purchase Agreement (SPA) is the master contract every downstream document references. The Company Information Sheet (CIS) supports KYC and bank onboarding at LC-issuance time. Credit and Debit Notes handle post-shipment adjustments for weight, quality, demurrage and price reconciliations.
All four templates plug into the same LC and Incoterms framework used across the SSLT Global template library, so numbers and clause references stay consistent from SPA to final invoice.

Frequently asked questions
When is a credit note vs debit note issued?
Seller issues a credit note to reduce an invoice (over-billing, quality claim). Buyer issues a debit note to charge the seller (short delivery, demurrage recovery).
Does the CIS replace bank KYC?
No. CIS is a compact fact sheet that speeds bank onboarding, but the buyer's issuing bank will still run its own KYC and sanctions checks before opening the LC.
How does the SPA link to the LC?
The SPA payment clause defines LC type (sight/usance), presentation window, tolerance and documents required. The buyer's bank copies those into MT700 fields when issuing the instrument.
