Frequently asked questions
What does Loi de Vigilance require?
Companies with 5,000+ FR employees (or 10,000+ globally including French subs) must publish an annual Vigilance Plan covering human-rights, environmental and health-safety risks across their supply chain and subsidiaries. Victims can sue for remediation in the Paris judicial tribunal.
How is the Triman logo applied?
Since Jan 2022, all consumer packaging placed on the FR market must carry the Triman logo plus product-specific sorting instructions (info-tri). Non-compliance triggers CITEO eco-contribution penalties and DGCCRF fines up to EUR 15k per unit.
