Italy applies the EU Union Customs Code through the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM) using the AIDA declaration system. Dual-use and military exports are handled by UAMA (Unità per le Autorizzazioni dei Materiali di Armamento) at the Foreign Ministry.
