What is an EORI number?
An Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number is a unique identification number used by customs authorities throughout the European Union. In 2026, any business established in the EU or performing customs activities (import/export) must have a valid EORI number.

The first two characters are the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code of the issuing member state.
